Yong Ok Lee is a production designer based out of Los Angeles. Among her projects, THE FAREWELL was nominated at the 77th Golden Globe Awards with Awkwafina winning for best actress(musical or comedy). MINARI, starring Steven Yeun, earned six nominations at the 93rd academy Awards and won best supporting actress(Youn). Her other US credits include EXPATS(Amazon limited series), starring Nicole Kidman and Ethan Coen’s DRIVE-AWAY DOLLS among many others.

She received her MFA in Production Design from the American Film Institute.  She is originally from Seoul, South Korea, where she began her career in the fashion industry as a buyer, merchandise and a fashion editor before she started her work as an art director. Her work in the Korean film industry include top box office hits such as SEVEN DAYS, starring Yunjin Kim(Lost, Mistresses). Projects now take her across the United States, in addition to South Korea and China.
